Foxy Poker

Monday, December 22nd, 2008
Foxy Poker is an online strip poker site providing games in strip poker. At Foxy Poker, players can watch comic books babes take of their clothes in a game of poker. Although cartoon girls are used instead of real time girls, it provides another alternative idea of strip poker.

The rules of playing are really simple, the goal at Foxy Poker is to win tokens and use them to buy items of clothing out from the Foxy Girl. Bet can range from 1 to 5 token at a time and when enough tokens to purchase clothing, the STRIP button will light up. By clicking on the STRIP button, the Foxy Girl will remove an item of her clothing.

However it does not end there and if a player runs out of tokens, the Foxy Girl will buy back one item of her clothing, but with a surcharge of 10%.

Foxy Poker can either run on Windows or Mac and easily available for download on the internet.

PartyPoker

Arguably, Party Poker is the biggest online poker room in the industry. On a typical Saturday night, about 80,000 heads from all countries could be seen actively playing this game. The site is acclaimed for their hosting of very big L Holdem tourneys, plus the fact that this online room is a stop in the WPT competitions. This room's software is defintely above the norm. Their main lobby is user-friendly in terms of navigation. One could select to go to regular games or tournaments. A nice touch is their "average pot," which helps one to choose whether he or she wants a loose game or a very tight one. The tables have both female and male avatars, and the chip amounts are easily seen (unlike some other sites whose texts/numbers are so small you would need a magnifying lens to discern them). They also have "auto-post blinds," so you would not fail to post blinds. The Fold to Any bet function is exactly that, and it makes the game run faster.

VC Poker

As one of the biggest online poker rooms in the UK and Europe, VCPoker has lots to offer to poker enthusiasts and professional gamblers. One of the features this site has is its VC mobile options. Through VC mobile, you get to enjoy your favorite poker game through your mobile phone. One of the popular offerings of VCPoker is its progressive SNG tourneys. For you to get the jackpot prize, you're usually required to win a specific number of tourneys consecutively. Tournament schedules are also posted at the site, making it a perfect destination for those who want to hone their skills by joining various tourneys. To those who just want to brush up on their poker theories and strategies without gambling, the site has a poker school which gives guides for the following: 7-card Stud, 5-card Stud, Omaha, and Hold 'em. Another feature that's useful to many newbies is their interactive tutorial options.

Play Online Poker

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008
If you want to play online poker but you are at a loss because you cannot pick from among the hundreds of choices, let me give the following online poker sites as possibilities: # Ultimate Bet: The offering of games here is sufficient, but the animation could be improved on. # William Hill Poker: Not bad for a site that is known for bookmaking activities. If you are a newbie both to poker and computer navigation, this could serve as a good starting point. # Littlewoods Poker: This is under the umbrella of the Cryptologic family. For those who love simple graphics, you would appreciate their presentation. Game speed is above the norm, but the downside is that you would easily get timed out if you are prone to thinking for long periods. Just one last word in playing poker online, whatever your choice is, check out the integrity of the site. Read up on some independent reviews from other entities.

Full Tilt Custom Layout

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008
There are various ways to enjoy a match at the Full Tilt poker website. Regular players know that a Full Tilt custom layout function is available. Those who use a Full Tilt custom layout has better flexibility in the aesthetic look of the game on the player's end. The site offers an instruction to create a Full Tilt custom layout. Unlike other online poker games, the Full Tilt site lets the players adjust some elements to make the matches more interesting. A Full Tilt custom layout does not affect the layout of the other players. So, users do not need to worry about the layout styles in other computers. The best thing about a Full Tilt custom layout is that it can be saved. Users can simply revert to a layout style anytime they feel like it. This avoids the trouble of constantly adjusting the elements every time the player logs in.

Party poker tip

Sunday, July 20th, 2008
Do you love playing poker? If so, why not host a poker party? You can be the dealer and have a poker dealer party at your own home. Arranging a poker party is easy just as long as you have the right materials, and of course, your group of friends. You should have a full deck of cards as well as real money or poker chips to bet with. When hosting a poker party, you must also have a stash of snacks to make the game more enjoyable. Once you have the materials ready for your poker party, you must then call up your friends and invite them to go over at your house. Once they are there, you can then decide what kind of game to play. Will it be 7-card poker, 5-card poker, or Texas Hold'Em? Once you've chosen a game, it's necessary that everybody knows the rules. It's also important that you discuss whether you'll be playing with poker chips or with real money. After that, you can then start the game and enjoy your poker party.

Atlantic City Poker Rooms

Sunday, May 4th, 2008
If you ask me, these five are the best in the world of the Atlantic City Poker Rooms. Trump Taj Mahal: no less than 80 tables, indeed, this poker room has the most diverse repertoire of limits and games anywhere in the city. They have Holdem, the 7-card Stud and even S&Gs. Borgata: it looks more like a Vegas venue than that of NJ's, a clean place, this one is. Not all Atlantic City Poker Rooms hold automatic card-shuffler on each table, but this one sure does. Many of the games are Holdem of 2/4$ for the L games, while for the NL, it's 1/2$. Showboat: I think that among all Atlantic City Poker Rooms, this venue has the best NL Sturday night events, in terms of affordability. If you like to 'grandstand', rest assured that there are a lot of spectators. HARRAH'S: need I say anything? It is like describing Garry Kasparov to a chess buff, it would be an insult. Caesars: while I cannot say that the dealers here are the best in the world, a lot of fish are in here, and if earning a lot of money over one night's play is your goal, have a go.
